Join finishing wiz, Kelly Starke, Saturday, December 13 from 1pm-4pm to learn how to turn your stitched piece into a beautifully finished keepsake in this hands-on, three hour finishing class!
We'll walk you through the steps of creating a three dimensional stand up finish, perfect for a statement piece!
Together, we’ll make custom twisted cording, exploring different fiber options and color combinations to create a professional and polished edge.
All tools and finishing supplies will be provided, and each student will receive two skeins of DMC Perle cotton for cording, a supply list and written instructions to take home for future projects.
Please bring:
– A stitched and blocked piece
– Backing fabric in two different options (we’ll help you choose!)
