Join finishing wiz, Kelly Starke, Thursday, December 11 from 10am-1pm to learn how to turn your stitched ornament into a beautifully finished keepsake in this hands-on, three hour finishing class!
We'll walk you through the steps of a classic cookie-style finish, perfect for round or simply shaped ornaments. Together, we’ll make custom twisted cording, exploring different fiber options and color combinations to create a professional and polished edge.
All tools and finishing supplies will be provided, and each student will receive two skeins of DMC Perle cotton for cording, a supply list, written instructions, and circle templates to take home for future projects.
Please bring:
– A stitched and blocked ornament (round)
– Backing fabric in two different options (we’ll help you choose!)
